Film about Cocoa For A Better Life
The cocoa beans produced by our members go through many different stages before they end up in delicious chocolate products. Watch this film to getn a closer look at the many different aspects of our collaboration, including:
- Our members, all smallholder cocoa farmers, are trained in Good Agricultural Practices and work with the “Nnoboa” system, which means “group work”.
- Post-harvest techniques are an important part of agronomical training courses. For the highest-quality end product, cocoa beans must be fermented and tried properly.
- When a farmer operates their farm according to all CAA guidelines, their production yield per acre will be three to five times higher than the average cocoa farmer in Ghana.
